As some of you know, I started my blog on the first day of last year's challenge, and had so much fun that I just had to do it again. I also sort of felt that I had to, since A to Z is the reason this blog exists in the first place.
It was a bit tough for me this year, mainly because I gave myself a difficult task. I wanted to create at least one brand new gif each day, on the day of the letter the gif represented. For example, I went out and took photos of hearts, then created my H-day post on H-day. I knew it would be hard to keep up with it, but I've been wanting to speed up my gif-making. I thought the challenge would give me a chance to do that.
Well, I think it worked for the most part! I found new, creative ways of making various kinds of animated gifs, along with learning how to do them a bit more quickly. Best of all, I had fun! And now, I will end my reflections with the gif I created for the announcement my theme for this year's challenge, followed by some tweets:

I;m so lazy with the tweeting. But there are just so many of them that I'd have to make a full-time job of it. Other than that, I'd probably be much more active on Twitter although I've been on it for years...
ReplyDeleteHaving a good time with it is so important. I had a blast with mine too and just tried not to worry too much over it. Things'll come together in the end :) That's great you were able to up your skill level on the gifs! I've never tried making one myself. One day maybe :)
ReplyDeleteI've never made a gif, so I'm in awe of you :). Thanks for featuring my tweet, and I'm glad you enjoyed AZ. Look forward to tweeting with you through the year :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my tweet, Kirsten. I didn't even know what a gif was until I read this post! I'll be back to look at some more of your posts and I might have to stop calling myself a geek! Sue
ReplyDeleteI've never made a gif either, so it's I'm very impressed this was your theme. Thanks for featuring my tweet. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am impressed you took such a unique approach to the A to Z challenge. The other day I was looking back at the images I've created in the past year: I've gotten SO MUCH better at it over the year. All that practice, practice, practice pays off!
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my tweet in your post. I appreciate it!!

One new gif a day is huge. I certainly couldn't have done it. I'm lucky to created a sentence that people can understand. Great to connect with you during April.
ReplyDeleteYour challenge sounds really difficult. Glad you had fun. I had a blast as well. Thanks for the shout out here.
ReplyDeleteRoad-tripping from A to Z!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good challenge experience...so did I! I'm very impressed with your gift to make gifs...I can barely cut and paste LOL
