Person of Interest (POI) is an awesome action crime drama, with a touch of mystery, and a whole lot of comedic relief. It shares executive producer J.J. Abrams with two of my other favorite shows,
Fringe and
Lost. It's just as exciting, but a bit more scary because it's closer to real life.
POI is based on a Machine that can predict crime based on massive amounts of collected and processed surveillance. In some ways, it is similar to
Minority Report, except that the Machine helps the main characters to save people from dying. The last episode went back on that a little, but only in an attempt to save many people... I won't give it away, but it was a very interesting episode, and one of the best so far in the series. I did not have time to create a new gif, so the following are just a few of the gifs I created for past recaps.

Reese and Shaw prefer kneecapping bad guys to killing them |

The Machine has now restructured. It's getting scary!
I had also made this gif available on this Tumblr post. |

Finch is the brains who helped create the Machine, and he loves his gadgets!

P is also for #Podcast! I was invited to guest on my first two podcasts a few weeks ago. In the first one I discuss
Teen Wolf (here's the
main page, and the
iTunes page), and in the second I discuss
Grimm (here's the
main page, and the
iTunes page). In the Grimm podcast, I come in about halfway, but I was more nervous doing the Teen Wolf one because I'd never been on a podcast before.
I also love the show #Psych, especially when they make 80s references:
Save your #Pennies:
My P for last year was "#Pico #Prefers #Peanuts":
Love Person of Interest and Psych. I liked Psych for the same reason, all the 80's references. I wasn't sure I would like POI because of the way Jim Caviezal's character is, but he grew on me and I really enjoy the show now. It also seems to be getting better the longer it goes which is always a good sign.
ReplyDeleteI tried to get into listening to Podcasts but what it comes down to is I don't take the time to sit and listen to them. I enjoy some of them, but I don't want to take the time away from other things.
To be honest, I don't listen to many podcasts either. I started listening in the car once I was invited to do one. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteKristen,
ReplyDeleteI love this show! I always record it and then watch several episodes in one night. I didn't even check your blog yet on the A to Z. There's too many people participating. And I'm too busy trying to get ready to move. I almost didn't do it this year.

I actually had to put a couple of plans on hold in order to do it. I had so much fun last year, I just didn't want to miss it! :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love this show. Wasn't sure I'd want to watch it but they hooked me and drew me in.
ReplyDeleteSame here! I actually didn't like it for the first half of the first season, but then it got awesome! :)
DeleteI just discovered this show about a month ago. I binge-watched up to current, and now I'm impatient for more! Visiting from the A-to-Z Challenge at Haiku Corner
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun, isn't it? Thanks for stopping by!
