K is for Kristen (and the KristenHead Nickname)

Kristen is my name, and KristenHead is my nickname. That's not dirty, by the way. If you want to know why that is my nickname, I posted about in on last year's A to Z Challenge for K: "KristenHead Keeps Kidding." Today, I'll add to the story a bit.

The link tells how I actually got the nickname, but there was another reason why it was so perfect. A couple of years earlier, while I was a manager and software engineer, some of my coworkers began calling me "The Big Giant Head," after the leader of the alien race on the show 3rd Rock from the Sun. Part of the reason was because I enjoyed collecting little aliens for my desk, and part of it was because they thought I was really smart. I also loved the show!
I've been insanely busy, and look like crap, so here
is a gif of what I do when I'm thinking really hard.
I've also made this gif available on this Tumblr post.
A whole different #Kristen:
Since today is about me, and there’s nothing worth quoting under the #KristenHead hashtag, I’ll just put a widget of my favorites:

A Kanima is a creature who was on Teen Wolf. He was played by Colton Haynes, who is now on Arrow:
My K for last year was "#KristenHead #Keeps #Kidding." Since I already gave you KristenHead favorite tweets, I'll do #Keeps and #Kidding:

  1. I don't have a nickname like that. Just variations to my real name. When I was a child my brother called me Skippy because I always had a hurt ankle and would kind of hop and skip when I walked. haha

    1. LOL, that's a cute one! I actually have quite a few nicknames. In fact, my brother and cousin went on this kick where they gave everyone a dirty nickname based on the sound of their real name. Mine is horrible! I can't even repeat it! HAHA! Thanks for stopping by! :)

  2. Oh I loved 3rd Rock from the Sun! Been ages and ages since I've seen that one. My nickname was always Lefty. From the day I was born. Apparently when the guys came in to see me I threw my left hand up in the air and they decided I was going to be left handed and be a basketball player (men are weird!). And it stuck though not the left handed or basketball bits. lol

    Happy A to Z-ing!

  3. Kristen,

Have you ever been to the Lil Alien in NV on the Extraterrestrial Highway? I think you;d like it out in the middle of nowhere in the Nevada desert. They have spaceships (flying saucers) sitting around outside and all kinds of alien stuff inside. Lots of stuff to collect there.

    Thanks for visiting my blog,
