I love animals. I've always considered myself a dog person, but I love cats too. I just get along with dogs a little better. I also love elephants. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat pork because I love piggies.
The love I have for animals varies depending on the type of animal. I have three categories. There are animals I love as family members, there are animals I love to watch in the wild or on TV, and there are animals I love to eat.
I hope that doesn't sound insensitive. It's just that some animals don't seem to have any intellect or feeling that would allow me to connect with them. I'm talking mostly about chickens and many fish. I mean, chicken don't even have a real brain. You can't train a chicken. A person who says they can train chickens really only trains himself on how to make people think he has trained them. A chicken will never love you or care about you.
Dogs, cats, and even animals such as pigs and elephants, have amazing brains. Dogs, for example, are a reflection of what you give them. If you give them love, that love is reflected back to you. They may not feel love the same way we do, but we can feel that connection.
Cats may seem uncaring, but they are similar to dogs in the sense that they reflect your love for them. When you treat a cat well, it will want to be around you, and show you what at least seems to be love.
Elephants are almost like humans. They stay in families just like humans, and mourn their losses like humans.
Yep, animals are amazing, and I love them!
Agreed! I'm a dog person. I didn't really like animals until I got my dog, and now I get excited whenever I see a dog!
